About Colby Dee

Nashville and the music business can be a little bit intimidating at times. But it’s not stopping country music’s distinctive new vocal powerhouse, Colby Dee.

Born in Canada, lived from coast-to-coast, yet primarily raised in Georgia and calls it “home”, Colby Dee is a dual citizen that made the bold move to Nashville less than two years ago. She hit the ground running and immediately caught the eye and ear of seasoned songwriters and she’s been developing a strong songwriting talent and solid stage show ever since.

Within just a short time, Colby Dee has been featured on a Times Square marquee, trended on Yahoo!, headlined for the Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure before an audience of 50,000 people, released two singles on iTunes, appeared in numerous music videos, headlined her first concert, performed in the 2012 CMA Fest on the GAC Stage at Bridgestone Arena and released her first original live-concert video.

Industry folks are taking notice, including the Editors of iTunes, who selected her single “RagTop Girl” to be featured in their “New and Noteworthy” in August, alongside new releases by the talents of Little Big Town, Josh Turner, Darius Rucker and Easton Corbin. The iTunes Editors followed up by naming “Rag Top Girl” to “What We’re Listening To”.
